Andrew Wiggins’ Letter to the Cleveland Cavaliers

To owner Dan Gilbert, GM David Griffin, and all the Cleveland Cavaliers’ staff and fans,

I would like to start off by saying thank you for making me the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Walking on that stage on Draft Day and shaking the commissioner’s hand was the culmination of a lifelong dream.

This is a great time for the city of Cleveland as well. Your prodigal son, LeBron James has returned home and the Cavaliers’ front office has moved quickly to assemble a championship caliber team around him.

JJ Barea taking over where Rubio left off


After his great performance in the NBA Finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves signed JJ Barea away from the defending champs in hopes that he would be the play-maker they lacked last season. This was before Ricky Rubio came in and made a splash with his flashy passing ability of course.

Seamless transition for Ricky Rubio?


I don’t know if Ricky Rubio ever ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain but he sure has the Minnesota Timberwolves running this year. Rubio’s aggressiveness in the open court and ability to see the floor has made the game a lot easier for his teammates this year.
