After his great performance in the NBA Finals, the Minnesota
Timberwolves signed JJ Barea away from the defending champs in hopes that he
would be the play-maker they lacked last season. This was before Ricky Rubio
came in and made a splash with his flashy passing ability of course.

Contestants please: sizing up the All-Star game in Orlando
In my humble opinion, I believe that the NBA hosts the best
all-star game of all professional sports. You don’t hear anyone talk about
all-star contests from different eras like you do the Slam Dunk contest or the
Three-Point shooting contest. Famous dunks like Dominique Wilkins’ tomahawk,
Michael Jordan dunking from the free throw line or Vince Carter sticking his
arm in the rim are classic highlights on sports shows.

Seamless transition for Ricky Rubio?
I don’t know if Ricky Rubio ever ran with the bulls in
Pamplona, Spain but he sure has the Minnesota Timberwolves running this year. Rubio’s
aggressiveness in the open court and ability to see the floor has made the game
a lot easier for his teammates this year.

The Ricky Rubio Effect
Bienvenido al programa de Ricky Rubio. Get used to hearing
that phrase people. Well…that is of course assuming you’re tuned into a
Spanish-speaking station. Rubio’s teammates may end up hearing the phrase a lot
though with the Spanish media drooling all over Rubio and his highlight-worthy
passing game.
